Sydney Royal Easter Show 2015
We had another wonderful year at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It was fantastic to, once again, be a part of such an awesome team. We consider ourselves very lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing people. A big thank you to Ingleside Shires, Kate Williams, Annette Robinson, Liz Williams, Sarah Dooley, Jess van den Dries and Somone Landry.

Goulburn Show 2015
We had another a lovely day out at Goulburn Show this year. Their heavy horse program has been expanded and they’ve really got a lot going on!
We took Darkmoor Jazz & Darkmoor Lady Elegance, so were only entered in the led classes. Both of the girls handled the outing exceptionally well and placed first and second in the Shire Filly Under Two class, respectively. Jazz went on to win Champion Shire, which we’re absolutely delighted with.

Yass Show 2015
We had a delightful day out at Yass Show this year. This is not a show we’ve entered before, as their open heavy horse classes are new.
We took Darkmoor Lady Elegance & Darkmoor Jazz for an outing, primarily looking to get them some show experience in the lead up to the bigger shows later in the season. Both of them took in the atmosphere gracefully and worked out very well in their classes. Jazz placed second in the mare or filly class and Lady Elegance third.

Werribee Show 2015 We made the (very) long trip down to Victoria for the National Clydesdale & Heavy Horse Festival at Werribee Park in February.
Darkmoor Jester, at his first ever show, went absolutely brilliantly. He performed very well in led and ridden classes, without putting a foot wrong.
Jester won Best Presented Shire and Reserve Champion Gelding on Saturday morning and performed very well in his first go at a dressage test with Ineke Kuiper on Saturday afternoon. Sunday he repeated his solid ridden performance for fourth place with Byron Biffin in the heavy horse ridden class.

Darkmoor Jazz went to her first show at Bungendore this weekend. She did brilliantly -undefeated! – beating quite a few older horses to win: First Shire Mare or Filly Under 2Champion Shire Mare or Filly Supreme Champion ShireGrand Champion Heavy Horse We are ridiculously proud of how Jazz handled her first outing – she calmly took it all in stride and didn’t put a foot wrong. She loved all the cuddles from the public, who fell in love with her. Our yearling filly Ingleside Georgina also did very well, placing Second Mare or Filly Under 2 and Reserve Champion Mare or Filly.
