Ingleside Felicity

Ingleside Felicity is a beautiful bay Shire mare with four white socks. She has lovely conformation, moves beautifully and has fantastic feet. Felicity is the head mare here at Darkmoor and she’s got a beautiful nature.

Felicity is by Ingleside Might n Power out of Locksley Farm Rhiannon. She was a successful show horse in her youth – twice winning at Sydney Royal – and has gone on to be a truly wonderful broodmare.

One of Felicity’s daughters, Ingleside Symphony, won Best Shire Exhibit at the Sydney Royal in 2007 & 2009. Felicity’s granddaughter Ingleside Lucinda won Best Shire Exhibit at Sydney Royal in 2010 and her progeny for Viewfield Shires have regularly won at shows in Tasmania. Felicity is also the maternal half sister to Ingleside Anastasia, the 2014 Sydney Royal Female Shire Champion.

Felicity has some of the older imported (UK) Shire bloodlines in Australia on her sire’s side – Wyee Anthony, Cowhill Sovereign and Wishful Pearl. Her Clydesdale breeding on the dam side is also full of champions – Myrtle Park Mark, Roughlands Hallmark, Narioka Avenger, Grandene, Waverley Chieftan & Doura Everlasting.

Felicity is expecting a Spring 2020 foal to Tullymore Sir Joseph Banks, due in October.
