Sydney Royal 2013

Sydney Royal 2013 was our first year exhibiting at the Sydney Royal Easter Show – and what an experience it was!

We took Darkmoor da Vinci, our five-month-old colt, along for the ride. He was exceptionally well behaved, handling the people, noise and new situations in the several days prior to the show tremendously well. da Vinci was very popular with everyone who met him and we are ridiculously proud of him.Watch movie online The Transporter Refueled (2015)

Emma had her first attempt at leading a horse out and did a great job despite a lot of nerves. While in the show ring, da Vinci did his best to behave but ended up getting a bit excited (we’ll call that an understatement!). Despite that, he received very positive remarks from the judge.

da Vinci won second place in the Shire Colt Under Two class! This is a fabulous result for our first ever entry and we look forward to exhibiting for many years to come.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our good friends at Ingleside Shires for their continued support and encouragement, and the truckload of help they’ve given us since we started breeding Shire horses. We’d have been lost without them.
