Werribee Show 2015

Werribee Show 2015 We made the (very) long trip down to Victoria for the National Clydesdale & Heavy Horse Festival at Werribee Park in February.

Darkmoor Jester, at his first ever show, went absolutely brilliantly. He performed very well in led and ridden classes, without putting a foot wrong.

Jester won Best Presented Shire and Reserve Champion Gelding on Saturday morning and performed very well in his first go at a dressage test with Ineke Kuiper on Saturday afternoon. Sunday he repeated his solid ridden performance for fourth place with Byron Biffin in the heavy horse ridden class.

Catching up with old friends and making new ones made this weekend a lot of fun. The Victorian heavy horse community made sure we felt welcome and very much appreciated the effort involved in us coming so far to attend.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download

We’d like to give a huge nod to our friends Byron & Ineke of Ingleside Shires, who we shared the trip with. Having them with us made the trip a lot more fun – we likely wouldn’t have done it without them – and it is under their guidance that Jester has come along so well under saddle.
