Tullymore Lady Margaret (Maggie), is a well-conformed, impeccably bred Shire mare sired by the imported stallion Arclid Adonis (UK). 

She’s a lovely big mare (17.2h) who moves well and has an amazing temperament. She has clean joints, great feet and feather, and plenty of depth in the body. 

Maggie spent a lot of her younger years as an impressive saddle horse – she’s put several children through pony club, driven cattle and even evented quite successfully. She enjoys quieter trail rides now, when she’s not too heavily in foal.

Adonis, her sire, has been successful in Australia as both a show and stud horse. He won Champion Shire Stallion at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2006, and many major show championships have been awarded to his progeny.

Valmont Tia Maria, her dam, is a beautifully bred Clydesdale mare who was sired by another imported stallion, Dillars Benedictine, out of Valmont Contessa.

Maggie’s pedigree includes a host of famous horses from the UK, including Blackden Charlie (Super Premium), Bodernog Master (Super Premium), Hillmoor Mascot (Premium), Cubley Charley (Premium) & Hillmoor Enterprise (Super Premium). Her Clydesdale pedigree includes names like Dillars Benedictine (IMP U.K), Ayton Perfection (1986 Cawdor Cup winner), Ballwill Print & Balwill Select.
