Tullymore Leonie (Lexie) is an extremely well bred Clydesdale mare. Her sire, McMurchie Newton Stewart, won the Land Cup and her dam, Valmont Tia Maria (by the imported Clydesdale Stallion Dillars Benedictine), has bred many show winners, including the beautiful Clydesdale stallion Tullymore William.

She is a dark bay mare with enormous feet and very pleasing action. Though she is slow to trust new people, once you have her trust Lexie will do anything for you. Broken to both saddle and harness, she’s a pleasure to do anything with and has a work ethic second to none. 

Lexie has bred some lovely foals for us so far – Darkmoor Danny, Darkmoor Lady Elegance, Darkmoor Sinatra, Darkmoor Ariana, Darkmoor Pamela & Darkmoor Mayflower. 

She’s had a year off and is now expecting one of McMurchie Northumberland’s first foals, due Spring 2020.
