Darkmoor Flowergirl is a striking young Clydesdale filly by McMurchie Sunderland. She’s out of Darkmoor Caitlin, a daughter of McMurchie Northumberland, winner of the 2021 Land Cup.

Flowergirl is a big, leggy filly with plenty of growing and maturing ahead of her. She carries herself with presence and is already showing many of the qualities we value in a future show horse and broodmare.

Her pedigree combines some of the most respected bloodlines in the breed, featuring names such as Millisle Garlieston, Bandirran Blackford Majestic, McMurchie Ramsay, Dillars Lesmahagow, Doura Everlasting and Waverley Chieftain. These bloodlines are known for producing quality, movement and the traditional Clydesdale character that has made the breed so admired.

Flowergirl represents the next generation of our breeding program. With her size, scope and pedigree, she’s a filly we are particularly excited about. We look forward to watching her develop both in the show ring and, in time, as a valuable contributor to our broodmare herd.
